Premium Vintage Barley Shochu "Tenpai" (2013)

This gift series is perfect for those who love shochu and awamori. We have carefully selected vintage shochu and awamori aged for over 10 years from all over Japan.

Tenpai is an authentic barley shochu made by adding to shochu aged for over 20 years every year, with even the newest batch containing barley shochu produced in 2013.
It is made using 100% carefully selected two-row barley grown in the fertile Chikushi Plain.

2013年 Heavenly cup

It is carefully distilled using the atmospheric double distillation method to bring out the unique flavor of barley to the fullest. The pleasant aroma of green apples and roses spreads, and the mellowness and sweetness produced by aging give it a pleasant taste.

With the determination to "make authentic shochu more valuable than other distilled spirits worldwide," we completely eliminated chemical processing such as carbon, and started shochu production in 1970 without any sugar or other additives, focusing on utilizing the characteristics of the ingredients. In 1975, we launched Japan's first barley shochu, made entirely from 100% barley using atmospheric distillation. This has been the foundation of Tenpai's shochu production to this day.
