Sommelier's comment
A 20-year-old old sake of 500 million stones, which is characterized by its light taste. A sweet and gorgeous aroma like honey or black tea spreads, giving it a thick taste with a mellow sweetness and a slight bitterness. The strong acid is refreshing and dry.
Brewer: Seisei Sake Brewery
Founded in 1894 Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture
It is a small brewery in Hokuriku that uses rice suitable for sake brewing from the local Nanto city and brews it with the famous water of Iozen, "Water at the tip of the spear". It is said that Sassa Narimasa, the military commander who gave the name of the brewery, sought water for this water, and when he pierced the ground with a spear, the water sprang up and escaped the difficulty. Rice is also made from this water.
