Ancient Wines 2009

Authentic rice shochu. Main raw material: domestic rice. Malt: rice malt. Alcohol content: 40.2%.
Sommelier's comments
Long-term aging gives it a mellow taste, smooth texture, and even a hint of sweetness, without the alcohol content exceeding 40%. The gentle aroma of rice lingers in your nose, creating an elegant moment.
Brewery: Fusa no Tsuyu
Founded in 1907 in Taragi-cho, Kumamoto Prefecture
The brewery is particular about ingredients, storage, and quality, and while inheriting the 500-year-old tradition and techniques of "Kuma Shochu" made from rice, it also has the flexibility and new ideas, and does not neglect research and development. Taking advantage of the climate of Kuma, blessed with pure water, ingredients, and clear air, they produce authentic shochu that can only be made in Kumamoto.
