Founded 1872 Izumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture
A brewery that proudly produces authentic sweet potato shochu, sticking to the ingredients produced in Kagoshima prefecture, while bordering Kumamoto. We continue to maintain the tradition of brewing in Japanese jars, which we have been using since our founding. Izumi City is also famous as a landing site for more than 10,000 cranes, and was named "Chizuru" from there.
