Sommelier's comments
It has a gentle aroma reminiscent of black tea and a fragrant hazelnut scent. It is a matured sake with a good balance of rich sweetness and firm acidity. It has a long aftertaste and a pleasant sweet and fragrant aroma.
Brewed by: Aizu Sake Brewery
Founded around 1700 in Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture
We have been making sake since the mid-Edo period in Minamiaizu-Tajima, a post town on the road connecting Nikko and Aizu-Wakamatsu. In harsh conditions where temperatures drop to -20°C in the middle of winter, our sake is brewed with ultra-soft water pumped up from 40m underground, and is characterized by its soft, clean, and gentle sweetness. It has continued to charm the people who come and go.
