Sommelier's comments
Strict temperature control at 20℃ or below and regular filtration result in an aged sake with a good aged aroma. The aroma is like freshly baked toast, with a hint of banana, and a slightly voluminous sweetness that fills the mouth.
Brewed by: Toyo Shuzo
Founded in 1753 in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, Toyo Sake Brewery was founded in the Hokuriku region, an area blessed with bounty from the sea and mountains. It has a history of 250 years. In recent years, while continuing traditional techniques, the brewery has focused on using local sake rice, focusing on Gohyakumangoku rice from Fukui Prefecture. By brewing locally grown rice in the climate and environment of Fukui, the brewery's unique style of "local sake that goes well with food" is expressed.
