On January 8, 2025, Takumi Sosei Co., Ltd. was registered as a Hyogo Industrial SDGs Promotion Industry Project.
In response to SDGs goal 12, "Responsible Consumption and Production," which aims to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, we aim to reduce sake waste by purchasing sake from breweries that are going out of business and recycling it as aged sake.

【detail】

Sake consumption peaked in 1973 and has been declining year by year since.
Furthermore, the number of sake breweries has plummeted from 2007 to 1,235 in the 20 years between 1999 and 2019 (according to the National Tax Agency's "Survey on the Overview of the Sake Brewing Industry in 2020"). This shows that an average of 3.2 breweries are going out of business every month.
There is also a possibility that the sake produced will be discarded if the business goes out of business.
In addition to recycling the discarded sake into aged sake,
We would like to expand the sales channels for sake, including through exports overseas, increase the value of sake, and generally reduce the amount of sake that is wasted.

We will continue to connect the culture of aged sake to the future, promote the spread of aged sake and increase its value, and work hard to develop Japanese sake.
