The 2024 18th Feminalise World Wine Competition, a wine competition held in Beaune, France for two days on Monday, April 8th and Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, saw the awards being given to INISHIE Takumi No.1 Ryuriki Blend, INISHIE Takumi No.2 Maboroshi no Taki Blend, and INISHIE Takumi No.3 Ume Nishiki Blend in the Japanese Sake Aged Sake category.

This competition has been held since 2007 and is a world-renowned competition that ranks among the top five in France, the home of wine.

It all began when Martin, who had been involved in the wine industry for many years, witnessed the economic influence that women have in the global wine market and proposed a competition judged only by female wine professionals.
Currently, this is the only international competition in the world where only women judge. It is a very rare competition. The items that won the awards at this new and unique wine competition, which has never been held before, are getting more and more praised every year.

Every year, approximately 5,000 types of alcohol are gathered in France from all over the world, including Japan.

This year, approximately 600 experienced female wine experts from around the world, including female sommeliers, female wine makers, female journalists, and female chefs, gathered and evaluated the wines in a rigorous blind tasting session.

Kosoki no Bishu won gold awards in the Japanese Sake category in 2021, in the Japanese Distilled Spirits category in 2022, and in the Japanese Liqueur category in 2023, making it the fourth consecutive year that it has won a gold award .

The " INISHIE Takumi" series consists of three original blends of aged sake based on the "Kosoki no Biju 1997 Josen Kikumori (※ 1 )," which has a aged aroma, and the "Kosoki no Biju 2007 San'in Togo (※ 2 )," which has a well-balanced sweetness, and is a unique blend of multiple brands of aged sake.

This series is characterized by its sweetness, sourness, and mature flavor. It can be enjoyed in a variety of situations, such as straight into a wine glass to savor the aroma and flavor, mixed with soda as a highball, or with ice cream as an affogato.

The label also incorporates the design of a traditional Japanese noshi (traditional Awaji knot) and the gift box design features a Nishijin obi (sash) painted by Miyuki Satake and Masahiro Tanaka, two artists with disabilities who work for Pasona Heartful, a special subsidiary of the Pasona Group that provides employment support for people with disabilities.
