Authentic potato shochu, raw liquor main ingredient: Golden Senkan, Koji: Rice malt, Alcohol content: 35%


Sommelier's comments

Although it is a standard brewing method using locally grown sweet potato "Kogane Senkan" and white koji, the long aging of the shochu has given it a mellow flavor. The smell of the new shochu has disappeared, giving it a gentle, floral taste. Please enjoy the delicate flavor.


Brewery: Tensei Brewery

Founded in 1901 in Osakicho, Kagoshima Prefecture

Hishida, Osaki-cho, a tropical area, is the land where the softest water springs out, the best in Kagoshima Prefecture. The "Tensei" potato shochu, which makes use of this water, is characterized by its soft, smooth taste. The rice used to make the rice koji and the sweet potatoes, which are the main ingredients, are all grown and harvested by specific contracted farmers.
