2005 Chizuru
Honkaku potato shochu Main ingredient: Golden Sengan koji: Rice malt Alcohol content: 36%
Sommelier's comment
The raw material is carefully selected Kogane Sengan from Kagoshima Prefecture. The shochu was brewed in traditional jars and aged in jars inside the stone storehouse. The sweet aroma of fruit caramel tickles your nose, and you can enjoy the rich ripeness.

Founded in 1872 Izumi City, Kagoshima Prefecture
Despite sharing the prefectural border with Kumamoto, this brewery proudly produces authentic potato shochu using ingredients sourced from Kagoshima Prefecture. We continue to uphold the tradition of preparing food in Japanese jars, which we have continued to use since our founding. Izumi City is also famous for being home to more than 10,000 cranes, from which the city got its name, ``Chizuru.''
