Sommelier's comments
This is a shokunin aged sake that is made by carefully brewing pure rice sake for aging, storing it at low temperature, and then aging it at room temperature. It has a sweet, gorgeous, fragrant aroma of honey and almonds, and a mellow sweetness. The moderate acidity and spicy flavor bring the whole thing together.
Brewed by: Inami Sake Brewery
Founded in 1889 in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture
Hyogo Prefecture is the home of Yamada Nishiki, the king of sake rice. The mineral-rich, sticky soil and climate with large temperature differences have cultivated the ideal sake rice. Wherever sake rice is produced, there is a sake brewery. Inami, as a sake brewery located in a major Yamada Nishiki production area, aims to brew terroir sake in the local climate.
