Sommelier's comment
Through thorough temperature control at 20°C or less and regular filtration the sake's fragrance is aged. A freshly baked toasty aroma, a faint banana aroma, and a slightly voluminous sweetness spread throughout the mouth.
Brewer: Toyoshuzo
Founded in 1753 Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture
Founded in the Hokuriku region, which is said to be blessed with bountiful mountains and seas, Toyosake Brewery has a history of 250 years. In recent years, while inheriting traditional techniques, the focus has been on local sake rice and on Gohyakumangoku produced in Fukui prefecture. By brewing locally produced rice in the climate of Fukui, the unparalleled uniqueness of the brewery, "local sake that snuggles with food," is expressed.
